Who We Are

The Olton Area Library is located in Olton, Texas. The library provides free services to all residents living within the state of Texas.  Its primary service area includes over 4,500 people.

Olton Library's in house collection totals over 8,000 materials. It includes adult fiction in print and audio formats, young adult fiction, a large picture book section for young children, juvenile books, and an extensive video collection in DVD and VHS format for all ages.

Thousands of people enter the library to utilize print and electronic reference resources, access the Internet, enjoy Wi-Fi service, participate in computer and Internet training,  attend one of the Library’s programs, and use the libray's new gaming room.

Our Mission

Our mission is to provide patrons with anything they want to read or see; on request we recommend many of our great books and movies. Patrons may request items not in the local collection through Interlibrary Loan.
