Your Library Director Welcomes You
Welcome to the new face of communication for Olton Area Library. Since
its beginning in 1982, the library in Olton has endeavored to bring the
community the best possible library service. The use and promotion
of our website acknowledges a a growing trend for acquiring information
online. I want to thank Sue Cannon, Teresa Kirk, Martin Hernandez, and
Phillip Hamilton for including the library column and articles at no
charge for many years. 2009 brings announced changes in the regional
Lubbock Avalanche Journal print publication, and its move to more
online and less print information. We will continue to submit various
articles to the Olton Entreprise; current information will be carried
on the website. Libraries are primary information resources for
everyone in the community; we welcome change. Let us know what you
want from your library.
